Daemonheim is a vast dungeon where you can train your Dungeoneering skill, which will, in turn, allow you to delve deeper in Daemonheim, bringing you closer to the secrets found in its depths.
Daemonheim does not have any skill or quest requirements, and is available to both free players and members. Daemonheim's floors can be explored by parties of one to five people, and they can be as simple or complex as you wish them to be; you can face a dungeon of pure combat, perhaps, or a dungeon that tests every skill. The walls of Daemonheim shift and warp, so the dungeon you raid will always be unique!
Getting started:
1.To start Dungoneering, head over to the west side of Al Kharid and speak to Fremennik shipmaster to sail to Daemonheim.
2.Upon arrival, follow the road towards the west and then run north up the mountain and speak to Dungeoneering tutor. He is marked by a question mark icon on your map.
3.Click on the Ring of kinship to open the party interface. Click on "Form party". Hang onto the Ring of kinship because it'll let you teleport to Daemonheim later on.
4.Use the Fremennik banker to store all your items in your bank.
5.You may now right-click other people and invite them to join your party, but this is not necessary.
6.Head a few steps north. Right before the stairs, on your west side you will notice a "Dungeon Entrance". Climb down to begin!
7.This is a safe activity, so if you die, you will simply respawn within the dungeon. However, you have to avoid dying because it will keep you from getting more XP. Food is dropped by NPCs in the dungeon and is available on the tables when you start. You are also able to purchase uncooked food from the Smuggler to cook yourself.
Helpful tips:
1.Don't drop stuff you don't need. Sell everything you don't need to the Smuggler.
2.Stock up on as much food as you can in the beginning.
3.You can use food with your party members to heal them.
4.You are able to bind one item (right-click it in your inventory). Binding means that you'll get to keep this item from dungeon to dungeon.
5.Dropped items don't disappear as long as you stay within the dungeon. Your dungeon raid partners can see dropped items immediately. So, you don't have to trade with them. Instead you can just drop items for them to pick up.
6.It is possible and even recommended by some people to solo the dungeons.
7.You earn tokens as you progress in Dungeoneering. You can trade tokens for items and abilities. Since you don't receive any physical tokens in your inventory, you must speak to Rewards trader.
8.If you're thinking about using lamps to get fast Dungeoneering XP, note this: "For two weeks after the release of Dungeoneering, no quests or reward lamps will offer Dungeoneering experience. Once those two weeks have elapsed, you will be able to gain Dungeoneering experience from quest lamps and other experience-giving items."
9.The Dungeoneering skill is capped at level 120 rather than level 99 like other skills.
